Today we got the call about Bella’s play-group to see if she gets into Danbury’s preschool program. She goes in on Friday morning and hopefully everything works out so she can start preschool in the fall!! I really hope this works out cause it’s the only preschool we can afford. I really want her in something with other kids but even the cheapest preschools were about $100/month(!!!!) and we just can’t do that. Luckily this is a special program that is only $250 for the whole school year, Mon.-Fri. for 2 1/2 hrs a day. She will have so much fun if she can get in. The program is cheaper because it is an integrated classroom with special needs kids. The “typical” kids serve as a model of behavior for the special ones, I think Bella would be great with special needs kids. She is so kind-hearted and open with other kids. I don’t think she’d really treat them differently, she would want to be friends. Judging by how she is with Ry, I think she would be the kid who would be trying to help them and showing them things. Now don’t get me wrong she definitely has her less than stellar moments but for the most part she’s a great kid(I swear I’m not biased). So, keeping our fingers crossed for Friday!
Our handsome Shadow got his manhood snipped today. He pretty much wants nothing to do with anyone and just wants to leave the house(which he can’t do).
I couldn’t have said it any better!
Specifics aside, I feel like the problems with our govt/system can’t be pinned on any one person/component. I think the whole thing is broke because there is no cooperation between anyone. We’ve got Republicans fighting Democrats ideas just because their Democratic ideas, and vice-versa. Good ideas are getting trashed because our government officials are acting like school-yard children with a grudge. I think the same goes for Congress and Obama. Congress is fighting Obama on everything just to spite him. All of this is accomplishing nothing, and it’s turned into the blame game. I think our govt needs a preschool refresher course on how to work well with others.
As for Obama, I think he gets more blame than he should. Yes, he didn’t deliver on promises he made when elected, but I think some of them were a little overly ambitious. On the other hand, it seemed like everyone expected him to be a miracle worker simply because he was the first Black President. Like his blackness was going to bestow him with the magical ability to fix all of our countries problems. It seemed like a lot people thought the second he took office everything was going to be fine
Good morning world, say hello to Buca.
The day is done and the kids are sleeping. I should be too but the quiet in my house is a rare and wondrous thing. Even I whisper in this quiet, like it is a sacred event.
Goodnight world, sweet dreams
Summer fun
They only say you can’t buy happiness cause their broke.
My son is officially way too sneaky, and quiet in his sneaky-ness.
